Mind & Memory Nutrition’s mission is to provide evidence based nutrition research in an easy to follow format for you to use in your daily life. The brain is a very complex organ that is working 24/7 making sure our body is functioning properly. We owe it to ourselves to provide it with essential nutrients to perform at its greatest ability. Our goal is to review diet’s effect on the brain such as memory, mentality, emotion, and many more & provide recipes that include the perfect foods for brain health–without sacrificing taste.
Let’s dig into the research and our plates!
Diet should be supplemental to your current mental health regimen and is not a cure or replacement for medication. Speak with your doctor before beginning any new changes as these remedies are not individualized and may not be the best approach for all.
Thank you for visiting!
About Brianne

Brianne Okuszka, MPPD, DTR, RDN
I am a dietitian on a mission to explore the connection between intake and our minds. Not only do I love food but I’m passionate about most things dietetics and helping others reach their personal goals. I’m an inpatient and outpatient dietitian, serving numerous individuals with a variety of disease states and education levels. I also mentor dietetic interns and provide knowledge and guidance to help them reach their goal of becoming Registered Dietitians. Throughout my career, I’ve always emphasized pleasure and encouraged patients and clients to never give up their favorite foods. I don’t believe in dieting as I’ve seen many dieters have a decline in mental health and diets are simply unsustainable. I’m not exactly a whiz in the kitchen but I enjoy cooking and creating simple recipes. Please reach out with any questions, comments, or concerns. I’m so glad you’re here!
